Iron & Saline Infusions
We offer Iron Infusions for patients with diagnosed iron deficiency and saline infusions for women in pregnancy with severe nausea and vomiting.
Dr Bradley Borges is a General Practitioner and current Assistant Clinical Director at Active Health Portland. He has a special interest in Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine and has been working as the Head Doctor for Portland Football Netball Cricket Club (PFNCC) since 2024.
He has done extra training in ultrasound guided procedures and offers;
- US guided CSI into shoulder, hip and knee joints as well as subacromial and trochanteric bursa.
- US guided CSI for plantar fasciitis or peroneal tendonitis.
- US guided CSI for resistant lateral epicondylitis.
- US guided CSI for thumb and finger joints (CMC/PIP/DIP) in context of OA.
- US guided aspiration of superficial ganglion cysts with injection of corticosteroid. (There is no concession rate for this procedure – see table)
