Iron & Saline Infusions
We offer Iron Infusions for patients with diagnosed iron deficiency and saline infusions for women in pregnancy with severe nausea and vomiting.
Carolyn Price is a registered psychiatric nurse who has worked in the public mental health system for 30+ years. Carolyn works as part of the Primary Mental Health Team, which is a free service.
This team provides assessment and treatment for people experiencing symptoms of Depression, Anxiety and Stress related issues. Carolyn also offers a Perinatal Emotional Health Program which provides family centered psychological care for women and or partners during pregnancy and up to one year post birth.
Team clinicians, such as Carolyn, are employed by South West Health Care in the Division of Mental Health and cover a wide region. The team consists of a manager and a Psychiatrist who provide support and a secondary consultation to the clinicians. The team liaise with the GP as the primary carer in regards to treatment and ongoing care of patients.
A referral for this service can be obtained from your GP at Active Health Portland. It does not require a mental health care plan for access.
