Dr Bradley Borges

GP & Assistant Clinical Director

Dr. Bradley Borges obtained his MD from Deakin University, Geelong. He has previously worked at Portland District Health as well as Western Health/Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s in inner west Melbourne.

Brad is interested in all aspects of general practice but has special interests in:
– Sports & musculoskeletal medicine – Brad has a FIFA diploma in football medicine and is the club doctor of Portland Football Netball Club
– Antenatal care & Women’s health
– Pain medicine
– Travel medicine/Infectious diseases – Brad is an approved prescriber of the yellow fever vaccine and former Microbiologist/Molecular virologist

Brad also contributes to teaching the next generation of Deakin medical students.
– You might be asked by reception to consult with a student before seeing Brad. There are regular appointments during the week with no students if you wish
– Agreeing to a student is a good opportunity to get extra time and explore multiple medical issues
